Hey everyone, I hope God is blessing you big time.

I want to let you in on a big event coming to our area. The Awakening 2009 is our Big Tent Revival and Clay Crosse is coming to lead worship and Christian Chapman is the evangelist. The Awakening is September 13 - 16 at 7:00 PM nightly. I hope you will come and bring your friends who may not know Jesus.

Loving like Jesus and living like Jesus

Hey everyone, I hope you are geering up for the beginning of school. Don't forget to do what Paul said in Ephesians 5:1-2: Imitate Christ in the way you live and love everyone you come in contact with. If you do this, John 13:34-35 says that people will know that you are a disciple of Chirst.

I am praying for each of you and love all of you!

Don't forget to be asking your friends and classmates to come to The Awakening.

This decision placed a spot light on Leslie Nease's faith. That is not why she did what she did, but to God be the glory, she stood for God. I was wondering what your thoughts are about this. Share your thoughts with everyone by posting to this blog.

God is calling us to be faithful. Will you bow to the gods of this world or will you stand for God?

Hey everyone. Sorry it has taken so long to get this post up. I hope all of you Portmouth World Changers have recovered from hard work and sleep deprivation.

Well now I want to hear how God is still working in your live since World Changers (WC). Let me know how God changed your life through WC and what is going on with you now.

Simple but True

Hey PBC Youth,

This was in an email I received the other day. Let me know what you think of it.

A father wanted to read a magazine but was being bothered by His little
Girl, Shelby.. She wanted to know what the United States looked Like.

Finally, he tore a sheet out of his new magazine
On which was printed the
Map of the country. Tearing it into small pieces,
He gave it To Shelby and
Said, "Go into the other room and see if you can
Put this Together. This will show you our whole country today."

After a few minutes, Shelby returned and handed
Him the map, correctly fitted and taped together.
The father was surprised and asked How she had
Finished so quickly. "Oh," she said,"on the other
Side of the Paper is a picture of Jesus. When I got all of Jesus back
Where He belonged, then our country just came together."
